How to Measure Ring Size?

Wrap a string, piece of paper, or fabric around the base of the finger on which you plan to wear your ring

Step 2

Make sure the string is snug, but not tight; mark the spot where it overlaps

Measure the string in MM and input the measurement below

Determining your ring size by measuring your finger

Measure your finger at the end of the day. Do not measure your finger when the room temperature is hot or cold.

Remember that your two hands differ slightly in size; a ring worn on a finger of the left hand will not be a perfect fit for the same finger on the right hand.

Make sure that the chosen size leaves enough room for the ring to pass easily over the knuckle.

To measure your finger you can use a string. Measure the circumference of your finger and mark the string. Then measure the string length against a ruler or tape measure in mm. This measurement corresponds to the size of the ring.

If you are hesitating between two sizes, choose the larger size.

GURHAN uses U.S. ring sizes. If you need to convert yours to a U.S. size, please use the conversion chart below.

United States, Canada and Mexico have a numerical measuring system. They are for whole and half sizes.

United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Ireland specify their ring sizes with letters for full and half sizes.
