Using Refersion Creatives in Your WebSales Partner Program

If you are already registered and need a little help on how to use our Creatives that you have accessed through your Refersion Portal, we've taken the mystery out of it with some easy to follow instructions.  And, of course, always let us know if you need any further help.

On your Website

On any web page – your home page, landing page, in a blog, or wherever you like

Step 1: Go to your Refersion Dashboard and click on the Creatives tab.
Step 2: Choose the creative you wish to embed on your web page and click on it.
This window will pop up:



Step 3:  Highlight and copy the entire HTML script. 
Step 4:  Paste it into the HTML page of your desired web page and save.
Step 5:  The image will automatically appear with your Refersion link embedded.

In an Email

Creating an Email to send your Referral to the GURHAN Home Page

*please note: Yahoo mail is not compatible with Refersion. We do not recommend using it for your Refersion business.

Step 1: copy Your Link from your Refersion Dashboard:



Step 2: Click on the Creatives tab on your Refersion Portal
Step 3: Select the image you wish to embed on your web page and click the image.

This window will pop up:



Step 4: Click on the Download Creative button.  It will download the image and save in your Downloads folder on your computer.
Step 5: Open a new email from your email account.
Step 6: Insert the downloaded image in the body of your email.
Step 7: Resize the image to your preferred size in the email by clicking on the image and dragging the anchor points on one of the corners.
Step 8: While your image is selected, insert hyperlink by going to Insert Link in your email menu and add your personal url code (copied in step 1).  This will create a direct hyperlink from the image to the GURHAN shopping page that will include your unique referral code.
And you’re done!

Creating an Email to send your Referral to a specific GURHAN webpage   (e.g. Birthstone or Collection)

Step 1:  On the GURHAN website: Decide which web page you want to direct your referral to. Copy the URL for that page.
Step 2: From your Refersion Dashboard, click on the link to Create link to a separate page. 
This window will pop up:



Step 3:  Paste the URL for the web page you copied in Step 1.
Step 4: Click Create Link.   A new link will be created for you.  Copy it.
Step 2: Go to the Creatives tab on your Refersion Portal
Step 3: Select the image you wish to embed on your web page and click the image.
This window will pop up:



Step 4: Select Download Creative.  It will download and save the image in your Downloads folder on your computer.
Step 5: Open a new email from your email account.
Step 6: Insert the downloaded image in the body of your email.
Step 7: Resize the image to your preferred size in the email by clicking on the image and dragging the anchor points on one of the corners.
Step 8: While your image is selected, insert a hyperlink by going to Insert Link in your email menu and pasting in the url that you copied in step 4.  This will create a direct hyperlink from the image to the GURHAN shopping page you would like your customer to shop on with your unique referral code. 

On a Social Media Page

Step 1: copy Your Link from your Refersion Dashboard:



Step 2: Click on the Creatives tab at the top of your dashboard.
Step 3: Under the Category Social Media Assets, you will find a number of pre-made social media squares that are ready to use. Click on the one you would like to post.
Step 4: Click on the image you are interested in posting.
This window will pop up:



Step 5: Select Download Creative.  It will download and save the image in your Downloads folder on your computer.
Step 6: Go to your social media account (Facebook, Instagram, etc) and post the photo that you downloaded. You can then paste your shopping url (from Step 1) along with your own personal message in your bio or in the post message.

PLEASE NOTE: Instagram will not allow links in your post. You must include the link in your bio. Facebook will allow links in the message area of the post.
